Radiobiological rationale for RT–drug interaction
No intrinsic radiosensitization for the naked antibody (blocks EGFR/MET survival + ADCC); though evidence is limited (Lavigne et al., European Journal of Cancer, 2026; Rodriguez-Castellanos et al., Cancer Research, 2026). Theoretical overlap of EGFR-mediated skin adverse events with radiation dermatitis exists (as with other EGFR agents), so in-field skin/mucosal reactions are a theoretical concern.
