Radiobiological rationale for RT–drug interaction
Theoretical immune synergy (↑effector T cells, ↓intratumoral Tregs), complementing RT-induced ICD (Cattaneo et al. Strahlentherapie und Onkologie 2026; Galassi et al Immunological Reviews 2024). Anticipated theoretical adverse events are immune-related (potentiated inflammation/irAEs) rather than DNA-level normal-tissue sensitization.
