Radiobiological rationale for RT–drug interaction
Radiosensitizing mechanistically (blocks RT-activated JAK/STAT3 repair/anti-apoptosis) (Hall et al., International Journal of Biochemistry & Cell Biology, 2020; Shih, Pharmacology & Therapeutics, 2022). Because JAK/STAT also mediates normal-tissue repair and hematopoiesis, a theoretical increase in in-field adverse events and additive cytopenias/immunosuppression is plausible.

Ruxolitinib combined with SBRT, without concurrent use of
drugs from other classes.
