Radiobiological rationale for RT–drug interaction
Radiosensitizing in c-MET+ tumors via the MMAE payload (G2/M arrest, ↑DSBs, ↓repair genes), antigen-restricted (Hingorani et al., Nature Communications, 2022; Buckel et al., Cancer Research, 2015). Antibody targeting largely confines sensitization to receptor-positive cells, limiting theoretical field side-effects, though bystander MMAE release and the class risk of peripheral neuropathy could overlap with normal-tissue effects.
