Radiobiological rationale for RT–drug interaction
Radiosensitizing in HER2-overexpressing tumors (↓PI3K/AKT, impaired repair, ↓hypoxia) (Liang et al., Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, 2003; Pietras et al., Cancer Research, 1999; Song et al., Cancers, 2022). Because activity is antigen-restricted to HER2-overexpressing tumor cells, the theoretical normal-tissue sensitization—and thus added in-field side-effects—is low.

drugs from other classes.
